Quick and Cute Holiday Note Pads

Only 43 days until Christmas!  The hubby was out of town this past weekend, so I made major progress on some of my Christmas projects.  I got all my gift tags made!  I cut, scored, die cut, embossed and stamped all the elements for my Christmas cards (fifty of them!) All I have to do is assemble them.  Woo Hoo!  I also created a couple of Christmas note pads.  These would be great for all that list making we tend to do this time of year! DSC_0109

For the Keep Calm and Be Merry note pad, I used the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack from Stampin’ Up and Classic Kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink.  The Keep Calm stamps are from Technique Tuesday.  Love those!  I used Chestnut Roan Chalk to ink all edges, and used Stampin’ Up’s Chocolate Chip ink for the sentiment. I also added some red gems. DSC_0115

I found the little note pads at Staples and used a strip of the DSP to cover up the blue binding.  I used the Take Note Stamp set from Papertrey Ink to stamp “Things to Do”. The note pads are 3 1/2 x 5 1/4.  I cut my kraft cardstock to 5 1/2 x 7 3/4, and scored at 3 3/4 and 4 inches.  The DSP was cut to 3 1/2 x 5 3/8.  I added a coordinating strip (1 1/4 x 5 3/8) of DSP down the middle.  My sentiment was stamped on DSP and matted with Pure Poppy from Papertrey Ink. I also created this double sided note pad.   DSC_0130

I ordered the long, skinny note pads from Papertrey Ink.  They come in white and cream. DSC_0126

I used the Take Note Stamp set and Pure Poppy and Classic Kraft patterned papers from Papertrey.  The Christmas tree die is from Hero Arts.  I used the Decorative Label Punch and Chocolate Chip Ink from Stampin’ Up.  All edges were inked with Chestnut Roan Chalk ink.  I used gingham ribbon and crystal gems for embellishment. I cut the kraft cardstock  to 6 1/2 x 8 1/2, and scored at 3 and 3 1/2.  The patterned paper was cut to 2 3/4 x 8 1/4.  I added a coordinating strip (1 1/2 x 8 1/4)  of patterned paper down the middle.   The sentiment was stamped onto Classic Kraft patterned paper and matted with Pure Poppy cardstock.  Before I attached the patterned paper, I used my tape runner to attach a 16 inch piece of gingham ribbon.

These were quick and fun to put together.   They would make a nice little gift for a friend or teacher.   DSC_0121
